Opportunity for publication of conference papers

There are two outlets for publication of papers presented at the 2009 conference.

  1. The author can submit their complete paper to be considered for publication (with peer review) in MAST, the journal of the Centre for Maritime Research, University of Amsterdam.
  2. We envision several books to emerge from the conference through the MARE publication series.

All authors are invited to submit their full papers online prior to the conference, or during the conference registration at the dedicated stand.

Authors should indicate during submission as to their preference for publication, and also whether they consent for their work to appear on the conference website.

Cancellation policy

Once your abstract has been accepted for our conference we expect that you will attend the conference. We therefore request that you register and pay the conference fees before 31 March, 2009. Failure to do so will normally result in removal of your paper from the programme. Refunds are allowed only in exceptional cases. In case you want to withdraw your paper from our conference, we ask you to inform us promptly.
